Divine Foods At The View - Graskop

We arrived late without a reservation, but the staff kindly allowed us to enter even after the gates had closed. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, although we unfortunately missed out on enjoying the view since it was our last day in Graskop. The food was quite good, and I was thrilled to find that they offered monkey gland sauce, something that many restaurants seem to lack. Overall, we had a pleasant dining experience.

We recently spent a few days at the Panorama Chalets along the R533 and had a lovely lunch at Divine Foods by The View. This charming local eatery boasts breathtaking views of the escarpment and the valley to the east of Graskop. The menu features South African dishes, offering a range of western and vegetarian options. During our visit, we enjoyed their pan-fried trout and the signature Bunny Chow—a delightful lamb curry served in a freshly baked bun, or on a bed of yellow rice if you prefer. Both dishes were outstanding, and we would gladly order them again on our next visit. The service was friendly and attentive, and the prices were very reasonable. Divine Foods is a fantastic little restaurant for a nice meal in the Graskop area, and we look forward to returning during our future trips to the region.

We ordered the bunny chow and the trout, and both were excellent choices. You can't go wrong with either of them!
