Donatello's - Grand Island

Hey buddy. Niagara Falls can be a bit sketchy away from the tourist attractions, but Donatello's is a gem. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the pizza is delicious! The manager is fantastic too. I highly recommend this place over any other pizzeria. Plus, you can bring your own beer to enjoy with your meal!

Donatello is a delightful find! We stumbled upon this restaurant while in Niagara Falls and decided to give it a try based on its stellar reviews. The reviews were spot on - we thoroughly enjoyed our meal! We ordered mozzarella sticks, coleslaw, and a cheese pizza. The sticks were tasty, the coleslaw was just right. I often find coleslaw at restaurants to be bland and disappointing, but the coleslaw at Donatello reminded me of my grandmother's recipe. It was slightly sweet and not drowned in mayo, which I loved. The pizza was also fantastic - it arrived hot, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The sauce was not gloopy, the crust was soft with a nice crunch on the bottom and edges. My family wholeheartedly recommends Donatello. It is a wonderful little gem of a pizza place that serves high-quality food.

I visited this restaurant for the first time last Thursday. The exterior and interior view appeared ordinary, nothing particularly special, and at first we assumed they only made basic pizzas with cheese and pepperoni. However, one of the staff members was very enthusiastic when we requested a specialty pizza (I wish I remembered his name, he was so friendly). We ended up ordering a chicken finger pizza, and 15 minutes later, I was enjoying the best pizza I have ever had. This place may not look like much, but anyone visiting Niagara who doesn't try this place out is truly missing out!

We came when the place ended in 20 minutes. it was 2 hours before the posted hours, but they were short workers. we said we could only command. we have starved, so we have ordered and waited our cakes. then the owner came and spoke with our party of 16...6 narrow countries and 10 of our amish friends (what a crew he came to end us in the past, let them sit, brought us drinks, serviettes, teller and even a cool puzzle for all to solve. he chatted and made us feel so welcome, even at his conclusion. we were so tired (we had 7 miles on the day changed around the storm) and the cake. we had a basic cheese, a pfefferoni, the greek and a white pizza with huh. loaded with blows and so delicious. and it was also cold to breakfast! will definitely come back when we get up again. recommend for service and eating!

Great service from the entire staff. The pizza was good, and according to my sons the hot wings were great. I recommend this for anyone visiting and looking for a casual, low key place to eat with great service.
