Darcy's Cafe - Grand Forks

The food was excellent, and although it was very busy, it was definitely worth the visit. It was enjoyable to watch the lone server skillfully handle everything without any delays.

The service was excellent. Someone paid for our meal in advance, and my only regret is not continuing the kindness by paying it forward myself.

Delicious food and a wonderful family atmosphere! We dined here during our family trip from Winnipeg, and the breakfast was among the best we’ve ever had. I've tried breakfast specials at many places, but this one stood out in every way. The eggs were excellent — probably the best poached eggs my wife has ever tasted. The bacon was cooked to perfection, and the sausage patties were delightful, tasting almost homemade. Even the toast was some of the tastiest bread I've encountered. However, my favorite part was definitely the pancakes, which featured a cream cheese-style icing instead of syrup — a fantastic combination! I had to restrain myself since we were sharing with the family, but I can't wait to return for breakfast again tomorrow before we head home!

Darcy's is a must-visit if you're in search of fantastic food! Offering a variety of breakfast and lunch options, there’s something for everyone at Darcy's. Although we arrived during a busy period and had to wait a bit, as the sign inside promises, "we'll make it worth the wait." The service was friendly and efficient. While the restaurant has limited seating, it compensates with a pleasant and clean atmosphere. Our table sampled a bit of everything, but we all agreed that the chicken fried steak was the standout dish. We will definitely be returning!
