Ichiban Japanese Bistro Steak House (hill Rd)

Service is always good but a couple things I have noticed after visiting a few times.. the soup you get with hibachi is very salty.. a little too much. There are a lot of onions in the vegetables. I am an onion fan, but it could be toned down. Andlastly, they are a bit stingy with the yum yum sauce! We always recieve a bit of a sour face from the waitress when we ask forextra for our left overs. We like going here but it seems they are cutting some corners to save and it is impacting the tasteof the food.

Horrible customer service. We were given the wrong carry-out but didn't notice until we had left already, granted we should have checked but none the less it was still the wrong order. Upon returning we brought the food back to exchange for our actualorder, the head manager of the restaurant tried to blame this mistake completely on us. Saying that it was now 2 mistakesinstead of 1 because the other person that ordered didn't want the wrong order, and chastised us for not checking our foodbefore we left. It was rude and uncalled for, anywhere else would have handled that so much better. We weren't angry, screaming,or throwing things. We understood it was a mistake on both parties, were polite and weren't demanding anything special. Nevereating here again.

I have visited this restaurant several times. Staff is friendly, and Hibachi chef is amazing. The food is outstanding. I haven't found any item that is disagreeable. Wheelchair accessibility: This place is easy for wheelchairs. Flat service through door can roll straight in to table in either setting of hibachi or restaurant area.
