The Dive Bar Grill - Goose Creek

The food was delicious and our server was friendly. it is a bar that is available to the navy base, so there are dinge like pool tables, darts, an arcade to do with skee ball and outdoor door seats. Friday night has a dj with karaoke. the dippings were delicious, but intentionally: the order is huge. our wings were hot and crispy and I love the steak tacos. will definitely be back. also families were welcome.

The food here is quite good, though the chips can sometimes be a bit stale and the dishes occasionally tend to be greasy. Nevertheless, it's a fantastic alternative to the galley, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. There’s a game room and live music on some Saturdays, plus a bar to enjoy. While it could use more healthy food options, I can’t really complain.

If you're reading this I'll start with saying I feel for you. You know what I'm talking bout and just remember why you're here in the first place. Nextly there is a reason why it's named the Dive. You come here because you don't have a vehicle and don't feel like paying for a ride to someplace that is actually fun and far away from... There. They have decent bar food and alcohol, but for this place that's enough. Don't come here alone and try to drink your sorrow away, there's not enough beer for that. Come with a friend, or make a friend here. Remember that this will end, and even if it doesn't get better down the road, eventually you will be a person again. The bar isn't bad, but I would definitely not come back to this place again. You know what I'm talking bout.

I had to open a new tab to drink at the inside bar, as it operates on a completely different system from the outside bar. It was frustrating to manage two separate tabs. I also ordered a Cali burger, but the fries were soggy and cold.

The restaurant is open every Friday from 5 PM to midnight, although the closing time can vary depending on sales; if there aren't many customers, they may close earlier. They often welcome military personnel, especially those in Phase 2 who are over 21, and they are encouraged to bring their friends along! It's a lovely spot with a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and plenty of fun activities like pool tables and a ping pong table.
