Jamil Spice - Goole

Visited here on Mother's Day, we were a table of 9, it is only a small restaurant but it was full, only 1 gent serving all of the customers as well as taking orders for takeaways, food was delicious and the guy serving was very welcoming and friendly. We did have to wait s little while for our main but this is always understandable when places are busy especially doing takeaways on top of normal meals. However it was worth the wait and all the family enjoyed it.

You have to go looking to find this restaurant , you will be greeted with a great welcome, friendly service take own drinks , soft drinks are served. Good menu, good service and willing to modify dishes to your liking. A great value indian.

Tiny restaurant and unlicenced (but own drinks are welcome). Lovely food and really pleasant staff.Nice selection of indian classics plus some specials.

We used to frequent this restaurant, but a new one opened that was even better. Unfortunately it got very busy and very noisy and in the end the quality of the food and especially the house wine deteriorated and the prices went up and up with smaller quantities. Consequently we decided to re visit Jamil Spice, What a good decision! Although small and not particularly well decorated, the welcome was very warm and the food was outstanding! Try the Desi something I have never had before. The king prawns are highly recommended too, Very much cheaper, higher quality and as a bonus you can buy your own booze from the off licence across the street, Two of us had a better experience, lovely food and sac=ved over a tenner on the old place. Well done Jamil Spice, GO TRY IT!!!!

Howden has a choice of Indian restaurants and what was our favoured place is now very busy, noisy, becoming increasingly expensive and the food has been disappointing on the last two occasions. As a result we thought we would give Jamil Spice another try. Yes the place is cosy and they could do to rethink the decor, however the welcome was warm, the service attentive, the food of very good quality arriving promptly and hot from the kitchen. Good value for money and bring your own alcohol. A really enjoyable evening. The king prawn desi was very good. We will be back!
