Nice lunch here, only reopened after Covid-19 and would definitely recommend. the staff was friendly, attentive, friendly and very helpful. eating was absolutely beautiful. relaxed, unpretentious and inconvenient. they decide a little dated, but if they choose restaurants for their eating and they want to change from the usual mainstream chains give this young one try. they want to use seasonal products that are a winner for me. I chose whitebait starter and scollops from their special board.

We enjoy our Sunday roast and this is the best. All the trimmings. All the family was made welcome and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Will be back

The gents is shut. No notices to say so. All blocked off except the cubicle. **** everywhere. No way am I eating here!

The bar staff were extremely attentive and the roast chicken with all the side dishes was absolutely incredible. We are looking forward to returning the next time we are in town.

I just had one of the best Sunday roasts I've ever had. The lamb, roast potatoes, and parsnips were delicious, as were the separate dishes of cauliflower cheese and a good selection of vegetables. Everything was served piping hot and packed with flavor. Chef Dom is doing an excellent job in the kitchen, and Vanessa is friendly and attentive as front of house. Make sure to book a table in advance!
