Humboldt - Glenorchy

Very cozy lounge and cafe there, with sincere staff and outstanding coffee.

Had an amazing orange n almond with a generous sized caramel milkshake to start with and added vegetarian burger to it. Good meal...lovely and very polite staff.

Great cheese rolls, they don’t use the cheap white bread which we found rare around the South Island.

Excellent service, friendly staff and delicious food! Stayed at the lodge for two nights and spent most of the time inside (due to horrible weather) at the cafe/pub. The beef burger was the best burger I've had while traveling throughout the South island. Highly recommended.

Although staff was super friendly and nice, they were unfortunately a bit unorganised with taking orders. I ordered a soup that was taking forever to come. Also, no waiter was ever passing through my table outside so I could ask about it, so I went inside and told one of the waiters. It turned out they never actually got the order for the soup. He then placed my order. After about 50 minutes I finally got my soup. It tasted okay.
