Essence Cafe Pizzeria Hillcrest

We have visited this coffee shop several times, but today was a disappointing experience. We had to send back two dishes because they were undercooked, and the eggs had an off taste, likely due to the oil. It was difficult to get assistance from the wait staff, and although the manager was present, he seemed oblivious to our table's obvious issues. The waitress also failed to inform him about our problems, so I had to address them myself afterward. Additionally, they did not honor the free Americano special that was advertised at the entrance. Overall, both the service and the quality of the food have declined since my last visit.

The food was delicious, with fresh rolls and chips. The chicken was served hot and freshly made. It was nearly a perfect lunch!
