Rubio's Coastal Grill - Gilbert

Rubio's is excelling in providing fresh, high-quality food to the community. During my visit, I found the location to be clean and the staff behind the counter appeared to genuinely care about providing top-notch service to their customers. This was my first time trying their food and I was pleased with my experience. The fish burrito and loaded nachos that I ordered satisfied my cravings perfectly. The burrito was flavorful with perfect seasoning and just the right portion size. While the nachos were delicious with fresh toppings, my only issue was that I had specified no guacamole on my order, but it was still included. Despite this, I still enjoyed my meal. Rubio's is a great place to satisfy your burrito cravings and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tasty burrito.

I love rubios but I will NEVER go to this location again! Took about 30 minutes for a to go order, the rice was one big clump and was way over cooked. The chicken was under cooked. But hey, atleast the girls working there have no personalities and horrible customer service skills! The guy that took my order was the only decent help there.

I waited for more than 45 minutes for my meal. They tried to give me a small bag of chips instead of the large one I ordered, which was unacceptable. The side of beans was also very small, like a child's portion. Overall, it was a terrible experience. If you decide to go there, be cautious and ask about the wait time and if they actually have what you ordered, as they did not communicate well with me.

This location is NASTY!!!! Food was cold cold cold. Employees stand around chatting and joking around while Salsa bar is half empty and disgusting. Garbage?s overflowing to the point where there was nowhere to put trash. Not once did I see and employee wipe down table after customers left. Trash all over the place. Just a disgusting place that serves cold food.

We went to lunch yesterday 7/17 and we both got the fish taco plates with beans. I got rice with it. The beans were the consistency of soup. I took one bite and it was somehow gritty too. The rice had no flavor. I had to add salsa to make it taste like something. The fish tacos were good at least. The table we sat at was super sticky. We checked the other empty tables and they were sticky too. I got Rubio's from Doordash last month and the rice was so underdone it was crunchy. Against my better judgement I gave this place another chance. I am from San Diego and this is not the Rubio's I grew up with. The prices have gone up and the quality went down. I spent $28 for 2 meals. I may as well have went next door to Texas roadhouse and gotten better food. This is the last time Rubio's will be getting my business.
