The Boathouse - Giffnock

The atmosphere was really nice—quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed a lovely view of the swans and the park. We ordered a few toasties, keeping it simple since we planned to stroll around the entire park afterward. The food was excellent, and the service was delightful. The only downside was the coffee; I didn't particularly care for the type they used, but that might just be me being fussy.

I had an excellent experience at this restaurant thanks to the friendly and efficient staff. The cappuccino was outstanding, and it was beautifully served with jam and whipped cream. The soup was delicious, but the bread roll would have been better if it had been warmed before serving. I will definitely return, but next time I will request that the roll and scone be heated up.

I visited on a sunny Saturday afternoon with three energetic young ones, and the staff promptly found us a table outside. We enjoyed a delightful lunch, and the team was very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious, and we topped it off with some tasty ice cream for dessert.

Really nice eating and friendly staff. the menu offers many options, a beautiful breakfast! we had the halloumi and guacamole sourdough toast and the fruit compott pancakes... really nice portions and very tasty. will definitely be back. they also make really nice ice cream. they also sell vogelsame to feed the ducks, which is great!

Great place for a walk by the pond, followed by a lunch or coffee. I’ve eaten here a few times and the savouries are consistently good. Salt and pepper chicken was so good I forgot to take a photo but I will update in due course. Sweets look tempting but out of bounds for me as I’m trying to be good great staff, by the way
