Not yet open for Din in, but we had our lunch in the car on the train
Very nice Nasi Kandar. Spice n Curry all well done. the chicken is also a bit bigger. Must try great diversity and usually r locals.
It's underestimated. Surrounded by four other Nasi-Kandar spots, but this is the one that has a line, so you know it must be good. I personally prefer Deens Maju. Also the love you rarely see here :
We visit Penang often, but we've never had the chance to try their authentic nasi Kandar. This time, we don't want to miss out, so we chose Restoran Deen based on their good reviews on Google Maps. Even though most of the reviews said that parking is limited (which is true! , we decided to give it a try. We arrived at 11am (On Sat for early lunch and were lucky to find a parking spot. There was a short queue at the restaurant, and when it was our turn, we ordered plain rice, fried chicken, 1/2 salted egg, steamed ladies finger and acar (pineapples, cucumbers, and red onion pickles and topped with herbs-spices gravy(kuah . Kuah campur kuah daging were highly recommended. In terms of the seating space, we were lucky that there were still plenty of tables available. However we noticed more people coming around lunch time. I liked this place because it was clean and the staff were friendly too. Not only was the food delicious to our liking, but the price was reasonable as well. Gonna visit again next time to try other dishes. Thanks!
