Gellibrand River Store and Cafe

Unfortunately the chef had left for the day so we could only choose from bain marie and display fridge. What we chose was very nice and coffee was good...shame about the service though..was not welcoming.

Good coffee very average service. I paid $6.50 for a few days old fruit cheesecake that was "plonked" on the counter with no cream no strawberry no nothing. Won't be spending my hard earned money on average service and produce

Friendly service and a great selection of food made to order....probably the best cheese and tomato toastie I have ever had!

I always stop at this cafe on my way up to the Otways National Park to see the waterfalls. They have a large range of locally made food including lasagne, quiche, salads, local cheeses etc It's a place that's good any time of the day with great coffee and endless friendly hospitality. Maria has lots of local knowledge and is a great person to get information about where best to visit.

Your classic country general store with everything including kerbside petrol bowser, post office, gifts, news-agency, "milk bar" and cafe. For an all in one store, the food and coffee is great with seating inside and out. Food includes typical bain-marie take-away (chips, pies, sausage rolls, etc), homemade quiches, pies, rolls and pizzas as well as too many tempting cakes. Friendly country hospitality. Well worth the stop.
