Giannitto Family Bistro - Gawler

Very disappointed with a recent visit to this pub for a birthday dinner. My char grilled fillet steak was not done to my liking and arrived dry, overdone and it tasted like leather. And I wasn’t the only one unhappy with their mains. The buffet hot vegies were also like slush, watery and overcooked and this was just after 6pm. Compared to previous visits, the food on this night has gone downhill and the prices uphill. We were told our complaints would be referred to the manager.

Hey run two venues in Gawler. Both have excellent menus priced to suit all budgets. Run seniors days, staff are great and will help with all requests. both have excellent play areas for the young ones so you can enjoy a quiet meal. Both are spotlessly clean.

The Gawler Arms Hotel - Well, what rubbish this was. My parents recommended this place because it had a playground for my kids.. this was the only thing going for it. I paid $29 for a chicken schnitzel. It was small, frozen or prepackaged prior to cooking (obvious by how the crumbs separated from the meat). A small dab of pepper sauce and about 6 chips. The salad bar was full of frozen vegetables and the bread was stale. To make matters worse the place was full of underdressed loud ferals... don't waste your time. On a good note the staff were amazing and couldn't fault them.

This place is disgustingly terrible! Overpriced, terrible food, small plates and very rude staff! Don't come here if your life depends on it.

Took my elderly parents out to dinner as we were not from here they chose the place, what a let down. I was not very hungry so hubby
