Molcajetes Mexican - Gate City

Don’t want to seem picky, but me and my fiancé came here to eat. The service was bad and unorganized the service is no ones fault but being under staffed. The drinks was flat. The rice was so dry I could of used it to dry hands on after using the bathroom. The chips taste stale and salsa had a hair in it. Would I recommend this place? Probably not unless I really hated you.

This is the best Mexican restaurant in the area. Yes, they are a bit understaffed and it can be somewhat chaotic, but great things come to those who wait. Their Taco Tuesday special is amazing—so incredible that you have to wonder how they can afford to offer it. The tacos are stuffed with delicious grilled chicken or steak. The salsa is outstanding, making it hard for me to enjoy any other Mexican restaurant, as they just can't compare.

I go to this restaurant about three times a month—if not more—and that’s not an exaggeration. I absolutely love the food, the staff is fantastic, and the atmosphere is genuinely friendly and welcoming. I’ve never had any issues. Even when it’s busy, they ensure you get your food promptly and always check in with you!
