The Dock has it moments, but don't bother if it is busy. As a family on vacation we had three meals here. The first was a Thursday night which we arrived early for dinner, I admit it was decent and had I rated them after that night it would have been a 4. The meals were decent the service was good. The next meal was the next day at lunch and the food was OK but the flatbread(pizza) my daughter ordered was strangely covered in what I would imagine was a colby jack. The burger we ordered to replace was good. I would have rated it a 3. The last evening we tried was pretty tough, we arrived around 7pm which for a restaurant is definitely busy but, everything was different this night. It took 10 minutes to see a waitress, and then the wait to see our order of 2 salads and 2 burgers, went on to take over an hour. The food is ok, the service from some is decent, but don't ever go on a busy time they can't handle it. The last night was a 1. Service: Dine in Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

We stopped in after visiting Fayette State Park and ordered their garden bay burger to go. The bartender was very friendly and helpful. This was by far the best veggie burger we've ever had and it was loaded with vegetables on top too. We had to order take out because the deck is not dog friendly. We even tried to go back a second day while we were in the area but they were closed. We really wanted another veggie burger. The inside was very nice and looked comfortable. Highly recommend going and trying the garden bay burger. We will be back the next time we go to the U.P.

What an incredible little restaurant! Excellent food, service and the views of the lake were simply stunning! When coming back from seeing old Fayette at Fayette State Park The Dock is a must stop just a mile or so from the town of Garden! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
