Megha Resort (hampi) - Gangavathi

If someone want to know about this place in only one word that would be pathetic, where drunk people are pissing and vomiting in open area or near to your room, and owner also giving company to these guys, as per hotel owner cafeteria is for family but people are smoking and drinking, so not sure how this is become family area, room are smelling like public toilet, toilet are not cleaned in years so think of condition, food is prepare in crude oil not into any vegetable oil , so you can think about how food would taste, no proper power supply in night as this place in village so power cut would be very common , even if you insist to turn on generator , they will say fuel is not there in generator and owner is picking the call , so final answer we can’t do much, you need to spend night without power with having tons of mosquito, so solution is turn on your car if you lucky to have and spend night in the care ,until fuel last in the car. After this also if you feel something is missing, please visit this place surely it would be nothing less that hell

Fantastic experience in the megha resort. It's on the main road, beside a petrol pump, which is plus. Walking distance from a small hilly area, gives u enough opportunity for beautiful pics during sunrise n sunset. Rooms: Nice clean rooms, hot water available 24 hrs, not very spacious though. However it does the job quite well. Tent option available in the lawn area, kids like that much. Food drinks: Food is super, great taste. Kudos to the cooking staffs there. Special mention to the chai, one the best one can imagine. Noteworthy details: Resort owner Mr Jaikumar is very very helpful. So are the staffs. Second in command, Mr Nagraj is very prompt as well. Be it transport arrangements or tour guide, Mr Jaikumar will arrange all for you. Full marks on the service.

I came with my friends here. The support from hotel management was wonderful right from the booking stage. Not only the management but also staff there are provide best service. Hospitality is par excellence. The rooms were good. Ambience was too good. The food was tasty delicious. We visited Hampi with family. My family members just loved it. We reached the location around 4AM thought our check in time is 10AM, they still welcomed at the time. From start till finish it was very well planned and we were made to feel at home. If you are planning Hampi, this is the best place to stay- Megha Resort Hampi. Rooms are clean, the surrounding is pleasant and the charm is in their cafe. You don’t feel like leaving this place. Cherry on the cake is its owner, Mr. Jay Kumar we call him Jay Anna. He is very caring , loving and genuine. We enjoyed the stay because of him as we felt at home. He takes care of all your needs be it food, bikes, places to visit etc. The staff is also very cooperative and helpful. I would highly recommend this place if you are planning Hampi trip.
