Bidrage med feedbackWait staff ignored us throughout the entire meal. There were no water or wine refills. There was no offer to add cheese or even bring the ticket. Turned out the manager was the person who first took our order and he was non-apologetic for the very poor service.
We made dinner reservations for 3:45pm and were promptly seated. Very good time as restaurant had a calming ambience before the crowds. Nice place with multiple seating areas from front to back. We were seated in Dinning Room which is 1/2 through the restaurant. We started with their Appetizer Platter bottle of Italian red wine (Delacorte). Of course it was a delicious blend that our waiter Nathan said was popular with guests. For Entrees we enjoyed their Scallops (including a selection of local fish from the Gulf), and Lasagna Bologne. They were both hot and delicious. Of course everything about the dining out experience is strongly influenced by the staff employed, and our Server Nathan was efficient, knowledgeable, friendly actually appeared to enjoy working there! We’d definitely return next time this place is a welcome alternative from our “rushed” dining experiences back home in San Diego.
Met with some friends who were in town. We all ordered from the Happy Hour Menu and it was perfect. Oscar waited on our table and he was very attentive. Great service from the bar. Treaty mixed our drinks just how we like them. It was a great evening.
Delectable! Our meals were the off menu specials suggested by our server. Blackened halibut and filet with lump crab meat. Italian margaritas were wonderful. Our service was great with time to enjoy and relax without feeling rushed. Overall highly recommend.
Very elegant restaurant with exceptional Italian cuisine and exceptional service. We love Richard and his indepth knowledge of the menu offerings. He was so professional and attentive. I absolutely loved the seafood inspired dishes here, and my Wife loved the Veal PIcatta as well. However, she did mention that her dish could have been a little hotter (heat). We really loved our wine selection and Italian Old Fashioned drink as well. And you must try the Bananas Foster desert, which is flambeyed at your tableside. It was incredible! Make sure to make a reservation and get here at least a half-hour before your reservation time. It will take you that long to locate parking somewhere along the Strand, but it is well worth it.
