Country Kitchen Kazamidori - Furano

We had great meals here and good service. it is a wonderful experience in Furano. My girl had a cheese fondue, which is a cheese hotpot with bread and vegetables from local farm. I had a curry rice of Kazami chicken. The chicken is soft and tender. It's definitely worth to having your dinner here.

You will find warmth at this restaurant which is a 5 min cab ride from New Furano Prince Hotel. Although they are known for their “Tsubo (pot)” curry, we opted for the cheese fondue which was plentiful and delicious. The corn potage was very sweet. Local potatoes are a bit fluffy/ starchy. Grilled chicken and beef stew also recommended. Attentive but not pushy service. Bring your smartphone for interpretation.

Enjoyable experience to taste the veggies of the region. Menu items don't list vegetables but they come with salad and veggies. The Curry is in a little pot with pastry on top. Long lines but write your name on a list inside. Waited 45min at 630pm. No vegetarian options... cosy atmosphere.

A perfect place to taste Hokkaido's delicious veggies!!! Super homey vibe and the food is honestly sooo goood. Below we both got the beef stew and it's A+! The grape juice made from Furano grapes is also tasty :

I can only give 5 stars because it's the BEST food you can get in Furano. From the farm directly onto your plate. The quality is outstanding!
