Moondog Seaside Eatery - Fulton

We always eat here when we come to Rockport 1-2 times per year and it is usually quite good. The last couple years the food and service has been going downhill. When we ate there this time it made me think that I may not want to go back. It took an hour to get our appetizer, and we ordered large nachos but received a small nacho. When we told our waiter, he said if we send it back it will take another hour for a large order without an apology. I received my side salad after my main course. The Mahi tacos flour tortillas were hard like they were microwaved. As we were walking out an employee was yelling at another employee very loudly.

The atmosphere will always be the best part. This was definitely not my first time here but it will be my last. This was one of our favorite places to eat but the food and service have gone so down hill. I don’t think they will ever be able to match what they used to be.

Great restaurant on the water. Food was good and service was great. We will be back.

Wife wanted a fried shrimp taco, they only have grilled shrimp tacos yet you can order a fried shrimp poboy. We started out with the crawfish queso, looks like it is packed with flavor and let down in the end. I ordered the brisket and bratwurst platter, brisket was very tough, hard to cut and very dry. Only had couple bites and I was done, not planning on returning but we gave it a shot!

Great Food and drinks. Roxy was our server and she was great. thanks Roxy!! We ate outside and it was pretty nice with the breeze. We would go there again
