Forked River German Butcher Shop

We ordered the corned beef in a bag meal for St. Paddy’s Day. We highly recommend this amazing treat! It was the most tender and lean corned beef we have ever had. The whole experience was wonderful. The cabbage, carrots and baby potatoes were delicious. We will definitely make this a tradition. The ease of ordering online along with the helpful, caring and efficient staff make pickup a joy. This is one of the best places to get food in NJ period. Everything from meat selection, bread, bakery, coffee, prefabricated items and their service are worth the trip. Prices show how good everything is. I highly recommend it.

The Butcher had an awesome selection of steaks when stopping in. The flat iron steak they sell is AMAZING!! Better than filet in my option. Great company and great people!

I had an incredible first experience at this restaurant! I placed my order over the phone (had two separate orders to place since I forgot something) and the person on the other end was so friendly and accommodating. When I arrived, I was unsure of what to do and asked for help from a passerby, who kindly assisted me while I had my one-year-old son with me. He was so compassionate and understanding of my situation. The staff at the checkout were also very friendly and patient with me since I didn't have a number for my order. Overall, it was an amazing experience and I will definitely be returning!

I just have to say that your restaurant is amazing! Despite the pandemic, you have not sacrificed consistency or your passion for fine cuisine. One of my favorite items is your Rueben, but today I tried the pork ham sandwich and it was incredible. It was moist, flavorful, the bread perfectly toasted, and the spread was the perfect accompaniment. I don't live near your restaurant, but I work in the southern region and if it weren't for locked doors, I wouldn't have had the most wonderful lunch experience. I have ordered so often that I am ready to drive from top to bottom to introduce friends and family to the best sandwiches and German delicacies. Thank you for the amazing experience!
