Bidrage med feedbackSadly, very disappointed with our visit today. My family came from several states away to honor my 83 year old father’s birthday on July 7th. I booked reservations over a week ago, I told staff it was a special family birthday celebration, I even Ordered ahead a cake to be cut at end of the meal. We requested and confirmed an outside table for 3:00pm. Upon arrival no outside seating was available. we were told that seating was first come first serve basis. I requested we wait for outside seating and it was honored. 40 mins later, the table was ready but several entrees were explained to be no longer available because they had run out. We requested bread for the table, waitress said, no bread was available. No crackers either. A lady order seltzer water with lime….nope, “we do not carry sparkling water”. Three of the ladies ordered shrimp and grits. They were bland in a tomato base with very few shrimp. It was like bad grits soup. None of the 3 ladies liked this entree. The men enjoyed the wild boar shank very much , however. Lastly I ordered a birthday cake a week prior for my dad’s 83rd birthday and was told they were “ on it, no worries” . The expectation being that we were buying a cake on site and we would share it between the 5 of us. We just laughed at the 1 single small chocolate lava dessert that was presented to dad. No cake, no explanation…. It was like we were being punked or on candid camera. For a group of non complainers who have spent a lot of money here and at the winery, the restaurant left so much to be desired. It sadly was Really bad and left us hungry and embarrassed. Sadly, we expected better, service, food and will probably not return. This is our 3rd time here and this visit was by far a let down compared to past. The atmosphere and grounds are exquisite but the scent of cat urine permeated the air from feral cats. Beyond disappointed. Gorgeous winery... great food. Everyone is so kind I love seeing the dogs!
Very unsatisfied...came there on vacation...I have a teddy Roosevelt terrier...she is a no leash dog very well behaved that I unleashed after I saw they had their privileged dogs off leash ...I was asked very rudely to leash my dog ...I had a trainer leash so I leashed her..they wanted her next to me not able to move..I am an advocate for dogs being able to run and play ...so I left ...never going back ..
Excellent wine, food, service, and scenery! Our dogs were treated so well! We sat inside/outside the restaurant and winery and every location was beautiful! The owner, Ryan Morrisette, helped us during our wine tasting and was so friendly and knowledgeable during. We will definitely be back with friends!
My girlfriend and I got a wonderful fact-filled tour from Amanda who was very friendly and informative. The grilled chicken with green beans was amazing, and so was the sweet potato ravioli at the restaurant. Additionally, we had a view of the mountains and especially liked the real flowers on our table. Everything we ordered was correct and prompt and one of the employees even took some pictures of us for us. The grounds were very scenic and it was like we were in France with the decoration and architecture. I really liked the gazebos outside to relax in.
