Sushi Kanpai - Fairbanks

Very neat place, I enjoyed atmosphere. Sushi and sashimi was fresh and delicious.

I ordered a bento box with sushi to share, and it was absolutely amazing. As someone who commercial fishes in Ketchikan, I can tell when fish is handled properly, and it definitely was here. I had my granddaughter go to the counter to watch the food being prepared, and she loved it. The chef was gracious and skillfully demonstrated the preparation for her. Since my wife doesn’t eat raw fish, she ordered the tempura, which was excellent. They even provided my granddaughter with special training chopsticks, which she got to take home! To top it all off, the chef made a koala out of an orange for her dessert, which made her feel extra special. I highly recommend Kanpai for a memorable meal. The bubble wall kept her captivated, and the live piano added to the lovely atmosphere. Every member of the staff was exceptional.

The portions were double what I'm accustomed to and absolutely delicious. The service was outstanding, and I would definitely return!

This restaurant has the best atmosphere in Fairbanks by far. The decor is beautiful and stylish, and there's live piano music to enhance the experience! The waitstaff provided exceptional service—fast and friendly. I was amazed at how quickly we were served, and they even offered us hot towels upon our arrival. The food was outstanding and absolutely delicious!

WOOOOW! This place was delicious and wholesome. The portions are nice and big. The workers are very friendly. I could not have asked for a better dining experience.
