Home And Away - Encinitas

Staff are nice, but my god, never order the hot wings.. should have taken a photo.. served almost bare bones dipped in hot sauce, hardly any meat at all on a few. They either were running low or the cook was having a bad day. Go for drinks, but do no eat.

The atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable, making it a perfect spot for date night. They offer an extensive selection of beers. After a few drinks, you can take a lovely 5-minute stroll to the ocean. It doesn’t get much better than that!

I’ve found my new favorite sports bar in Encinitas! They have plenty of TVs, and the food is not only affordable but also delicious. The drinks are spot on as well, and Ashley, our server, is fantastic. I highly recommend stopping by for any sports event!

Home Away is an excellent choice after a long day at the beach or even just for a quick lunch. It's a casual, order-from-the-bar kind of place. The food was served hot and was quite delicious. They also boast a fantastic beer selection, with pitchers available as well. Overall, it's a reliable gem in Encinitas!

Home and away is very cute and trendy, although I think I may have had the wrong type off place in mind when I attended. I was looking for a cute and casual place to get drinks and catch up with friends, but also a place where we did not have to wait for hours. Their drinks were definitely tasty, there was no line out of the door, and it was a very cute and stylish spot, however the music was incredibly loud at 4pm, and they were playing straight rap and hip hop so it was impossible to hear conversations at the other end of the table. If I had known this before, I probably would have picked somewhere more mellow. Not that loud music is necessarily a deterrent, just be prepared and make sure that is the vibe you are going for! I would love to come back at night, because it seemed like quite the place for nightlife with a whole upstairs dance floor.
