Fat Mike's Pizza - Elk Grove

I was really impressed by the delicious cheeseless pizza at this restaurant. It was topped with red bell peppers, mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, olives, artichoke hearts, green bell peppers, and oregano, all on a crispy and flavorful gluten-free crust. Even without vegan cheese, the pizza was satisfying and delicious. Overall, we were very happy with our meal and would definitely recommend this place to anyone in Elk Grove looking for a fantastic dining experience.

It’s quite a trek to get here, but it’s definitely worth it. When I called ahead, the staff was incredibly friendly. Upon my arrival, my order was ready and waiting for me. The pizza was outstanding—absolutely divine! The garlic bread was delightful, and I can’t even begin to describe how fantastic the red sauce is. They serve the best pizza around. They don’t skimp on ingredients, and the quality makes it worth every penny.

There are no curries or bizarre toppings like eggplant or sushi here—just classic, old-fashioned pizza served in a traditional atmosphere.

What a fantastic spot on the outskirts of Elk Grove! This family-owned establishment has been here for over 30 years. Their calzones are more akin to oversized pierogies, but the crust is well-made, and the marinara sauce is delicious. They have a Coke machine along with four different types of tea on tap, including sugar-free options. There's plenty of seating, and a few TVs are scattered throughout the place. The restaurant is impeccably clean, and the staff is very friendly.

I was thoroughly impressed with this restaurant. The pizza was outstanding—definitely among the best I've had in the greater Sacramento area. The cheese blend was flavorful and right on point. The dough was also excellent. While the sauce was tasty and paired well with the pizza, I personally thought it could use a bit more spice and complexity. However, adding extra toppings could further elevate the flavor profile. The restaurant itself was impeccably clean; I would confidently say you could eat off the floor. The staff was remarkable and very attentive, clearly showing genuine care for their work. All in all, it was a fantastic dining experience.
