Japans Yokohama Eindhoven

Geweldige ervaring, de medewerkers waren fantastisch. 10/10 zou het aanbevelen.

We were just around the corner in the gamecenter and we were hungry. So we saw this Japanese restaurant and thought, why not try it? Inside we could choose between the sushi bar and the tepanyaki grill. We went for the tepanyaki. And... I have to say we were positively surprised. The prices might be a bit higher but I can say it was totally worth it. The quality of the food as the show you get at the grill is top and even fun. If i ever go to Eindhoven again, this will be one of my to go spots! We both had the yamato menu with the bento box as a starter.

Yokohama is a very nice place that feels quite formal! But you got to like the formal style of the place to find comfort in this place I personally really enjoy that because of it! And ofcourse you get to enjoy the show of preparing the food for you! (Only if you go for tapenyaki that is! Because there is also a sushi conveyer belt in the room next to it I've noticed asside from the appetizer and the main meat course that the menus are quite alike! Not like that it's a bad thing but mention worthy. But overall! A nice pleasant place with great professional and pleasant personnel from hanging up your coat to the professional way of speaking to you! Keep it up! And next time! We'll try the sushi side :

Good sushi from high quality fish but unfortunately very poor service. The restaurant saves on staff. Young students try to cope with the rush of guests but do not manage and overlook guests, do not clear plates...On top it all, it is frizing cold in the restaurant. Service is as important as food. The owner who does not realize this is doing something wrong. Money is being saved at the wrong end here. What a pity.
