Bidrage med feedbackI visited the restaurant for the first time during a trip from Vancouver, hoping to enjoy a great steak given its name. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst New York steak I've ever had. Every bite was filled with tendons and tough fat. I was really disappointed.
I have a dairy and corn allergy. The ONLY thing I could/will eat was a salad with no dressing. I had to ask several times for vinegar since the homemade dressing had dairy or cornstarch. I don't eat steak. I couldn't have the ribs. The BBQ sauce had dairy. They only bake the soaghetti. It is premade, then frozen already with cheese on it. For a high end restaurant you would think an easy item like pasta would be served fresh. Service was terrible. Waiting a long time for a menu, then water, food. Did not take her long to bring the bill when we were almost finished our meal.
The service was quick and effective. My son's spaghetti was cooked to perfection. However, my veal Parmesan was disappointing; it seemed like it was made from ground beef patties. The sauce was somewhat bland, and the salads had a little too much dressing. On a positive note, my sister really enjoyed the pizza.
I had a pleasant dining experience with a decent steak and very courteous staff. The house Merlot was also quite enjoyable. The atmosphere was nice for dinner, although it would have been great to have some background music. Overall, it was a good experience!
Service was good, but for a place with the name steakhouse in it you would expect the best steak especially at the price. Ordered the fillet minion and you would expect it to be tender and melt in your mouth, but it wasn’t. Mashed potatoes were good but asked for a gravy and I have never had worse gravy than what they have. It honestly tasted like a light caramel sauce. Best part of the meal of my crab salad and wine.
