Red Onion - Edison

Probably top 5 restaurants in my life. I think it’s rare to find such high quality Taiwanese food, and it’s one of the must go to places in Edison.

This is genuinely one of the best restaurants I've found in central NJ. The food is exquisite. Treat yourself.

Kids friendly with intelligent toys. Dishes were good except oyster omlet too plain). Nice dinning environment and service. The decoration showed the love to the lovely Taiwan

Food was well cooked, employees were nice over the phone and in person, and the place has a nice new look to it

I ordered a Lunch chicken teriyaki with pork fried rice, and hot and sour soup. The portions were reasonable for the price of $7.95. The chicken seemed to be a reasonable quality. I didn't get chicken teriyaki. It was not a teriyaki sauce. It was a clear sweet sauce possibly garlic sauce? Didn't have soy sauce in the teriyaki sauce. The pork fried rice was Fried pre made. Then, it was heavily drenched in the strange sweet clear sauce. I didn't want a porridge with corn syrup sauce in a pre-made fried rice. Hot and sour soup was bitter. Take of the day: Just order from the dinner menu for a chance at better tasting Chinese food.
