We chose to sit at the bar and had the opportunity to interact with several staff members in addition to the bartender, all of whom were friendly, professional, and helpful. I enjoyed some fantastic cocktails while my husband stuck to beer. We also tried the fresh mussels and Bavarian pretzels, both of which were delicious. It was so good that we returned the following night for more drinks and a shrimp cocktail appetizer that was absolutely divine. Later, my husband requested a Bloody Mary after 7 PM, and the bartender went to the kitchen to bring back some of his house-made mix. It was so good that even I, who typically doesn’t like Bloody Marys, gave it my seal of approval! I'm taking the time to write this review because the staff we interacted with were exceptional, and the food was delightful. They certainly deserve a five-star rating. We had a 5:15pm reservation but arrived at 5:05pm. They weren’t too busy but we waited about 20 mins to get drinks. We ordered our food at the same time. Over an hour later we found out they were out of what my daughter ordered and 15 mins later we got our food (captains platter and a chicken sandwich). The chicken sandwich was ok, no flavor and too thick. The captains platter had a very small piece of fish and some of the worst tasting clams we’ve ever had! Absolutely will never return! Prime rib was flavorless, tough in spots, and 1/3 fat. The broccoli and cauliflower were inadequately cooked and Tough. The mashed potato was, indeed, mashed potato. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
