Maverick Travel Center Eastland

I was in line behind an elderly gentleman to order a Barbecue sandwich, time was 1:50 on my cell phone, June 22. The proprietor of the restaurant said to both me the elderly gentleman he was, Spelled Out, C L O S E D and we could come back tomorrow between 11 2. I interupted the man told him to his face i wouldn't spend a penny in here or in his store, you don't need to be rude to me or the other gentleman cause we wanted to buy a Barbecue sandwich. All you needed to say is you were closed, no need to spell it out loud or show you're a huge a I'll never come to your store. Travel Center, what ever you want to call it. There will be a day when you'll beg for 2 customers to stand in line to order food from you. Keep that good Customer Service in check and it may come sooner than you think. I recommend avoiding this establishment Like the Plaque!!!!

I visited this restaurant while traveling, and I was pleasantly surprised by how kind and friendly all the employees were!

It's always a pleasure visiting this restaurant, and I absolutely adore the staff! Every time I go, it feels like I'm in a friendly neighborhood spot, and a quick trip often turns into a wonderful conversation. Love you all!

The restaurant is very clean, and we enjoyed bacon cheeseburgers made with real meat—no unpleasant surprises! They were absolutely delicious! There's also a nice souvenir shop!

The burger was average in both flavor and presentation. While it wasn't bad by any means, it didn't really differentiate itself from burgers offered at other places. That said, it was a perfectly decent burger. The onion rings, on the other hand, were made fresh, giving them a distinct, non-frozen taste. They were quite tasty, and I was pleased with my choice to order them alongside my burger. Overall, this was a great stop, featuring good food and a friendly staff.
