North Star Tavern - EAST AURORA

We dined on the patio for dinner, and both the service and atmosphere were outstanding. We specifically came for the fish fry, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The restaurant offers classic dishes in a charming historic building.

A charming little spot with a warm atmosphere. They offer a fantastic selection of beers on tap and serve an outstanding fish fry.

Excellent food, attentive staff, and a wonderful atmosphere. I ordered the half fish for $11, and I was pleasantly surprised by the portion size. It came with German potato salad, which I have been enjoying since moving to Florida. It truly reminded me of my grandmother's recipe!

The food here is absolutely amazing. The pastries are homemade, and you can really taste that there are no mixes or shortcuts involved. The Reuben sandwich was one of the best I've ever had, and the Polish Reuben was also fantastic. The service was a bit slow, especially considering how empty the restaurant was, but the bartender/waitress was very friendly.

This restaurant is one of Elma's hidden gems. I've never had a bad meal or experience here. I highly recommend it, even though it means I might have to wait longer for a table. Everything is delicious!
