Bidrage med feedbackMy husband and I were eager to explore some local coffee shops while visiting Durham, and Liturgy definitely impressed us. The barista suggested the harvest squash specialty drink, and it was absolutely delightful! It offered a wonderful blend of squash, autumn spices, and just the right amount of sweetness. My husband also loved his latte!
If you appreciate a fantastic cup of coffee and authentic connections, you must visit Liturgy! It's more than just a coffee shop; they have a unique craft and thoughtful approach to their drinks. They truly care about their community and the people they serve. I highly recommend trying one of their seasonal lattes or their exquisite pour-overs!
If you're in this neighborhood, you might find it difficult to pick a coffee shop, with one next door and another just a block away. While they're all decent, I believe Liturgy truly stands out. Their pour-overs are the best in the city, and they consistently offer a wide selection of premium coffees. Although the food hall lacks the cozy ambiance of its nearby competitors, it's still a fantastic spot to enjoy your drink. I especially appreciate that Liturgy includes tax and tip in their prices—what you see is what you pay. I wish every restaurant operated this way!
This charming coffee shop is nestled among several other small restaurants offering a variety of cuisines. The seating arrangement is reminiscent of a food court, which isn't a bad thing at all. I tried the Vanilla Latte, and it was quite decent. However, I found parking nearby to be a bit challenging.
The barista made an error while preparing our coffee, and we noticed another employee was about to toss it out. However, the barista motioned for him to serve it to us instead. Unfortunately, the coffee was not good, so we asked for a replacement. They promptly provided us with a much better cup and acknowledged their mistake.
