L'ecume - Dunkerque

We went for the location, right next to the beach. the kids had moules marinières and we took some salads. all the dishes were good. Nothing exceptional, but considering the price and the location, good enough. Toilets might need some more cleaning and refurb.

Positives – a pleasant situation on the front. The owner was quite happy to move tables so we could sit in the shade. Negative- the food. It is difficult to serve poor moules mariniere, but they managed it. The liquor was overpowering with enormous pieces of half cooked onion. The smell was with us all day. Terrible, overcooked, and very small mussels. Which were cold. The owner was busy chatting with friends and the waitress had wandered off somewhere leaving food sitting. We shall not be going back.
