Dairy Queen Grill Chill - Dunedin

The food is tasty, but the customer service has taken a downturn. We just came from the drive-thru, and the "manager" forgot some items in our order. When we tried to address it at the window, she yelled at us for not specifying it at the microphone. I really feel for the poor guy managing the window; he has to deal with this all day.

Fries was a little under cook. I only ate half of it. Strips was amazing. That's why for 4 rating.

I visited the restaurant tonight at 8:45 and ended up waiting for 20 minutes in the drive-thru line without any response from the speaker. When we moved up, we discovered that no one was working, even though all the lights and signs were still on. If your business closes early, please turn off the lights and signs so customers don’t waste their time waiting in line.

I stopped here during a short lunch break to grab a quick bite. I’m not sure what the car ahead of me ordered, but it took them at least 10 minutes to complete their order, and they were waiting in line instead of parking. When I finally got my food, it was melted and looked unappetizing! I asked how long it had been sitting there, even though I already suspected the answer, and the young lady insisted it was freshly made. I pointed out that it was all melted and in liquid form! She tried to say that sometimes it comes out that way, but I wasn't convinced. It's a shame, because they could do so much better if they paid attention to their service! This Dairy Queen gets a big thumbs down from me!

I had a wonderful experience! The older gentleman at the drive-thru was exceptional! He greeted us warmly with a smile, made us laugh, and was incredibly courteous. I only wish I had caught his name to give him a proper shout-out, but he did mention he was in his seventies. It was so refreshing to receive such a warm welcome. I really appreciate this gentleman for going the extra mile to make our drive-thru visit enjoyable. A huge thank you to him for being so friendly and cheerful! And also to whoever hired him—thank you! You have a fantastic employee who truly represents Dairy Queen well! Awesome!!!
