Owners super nice, made special dishes just for us, pasta Aglio Olio was not on the menu, but they made it for us just because we wanted to try it out in an Italian place, and it was super delicious! Very friendly and polite waitress. As our Italian skills are quite limited we got every dish explained. This did not happen that often around this area. Food is very authentic and tasty. We can definitely recommend this place if you like good and authentic food. However you do not have a very nice view over the sea.
This was our second visit to the farm after the first positive experience a few years ago. The farm is always a success with the kids since there is plenty of space outdoors where they can play and run, see some farm animals and generally have a great time. However, the owner has changed in the meantime and this time we were surprised by the excessive prices which amounted to a price of a fish meal downtown. The quality was ok, nothing over the top nor below standard, but the price-quality ratio was low. We ended up paying 100€ for the platter of salami prosciutto and cheese, four first courses and water. The service was slow although everyone was very friendly.

New shelter for this farm of the karst of Trieste, which also has some rooms, already victim of previous unfortunate gestures. Beautiful location, also convenient to disabled people, deprived of steps and obstacles. There are no more animals that made it a didactic farm, although they say they may be reintroduced. The restaurant also has a pizza oven, which frankly are better to forget because of their poor quality. The menu is aimed at the typical dishes of the karst, performed in a sufficient way but not always served in the correct time. The service, however kind, is not always up to the situation, especially on the occasion of the floods. Prices in standard. Surely they are still in the process of being burned, so they benefit from the doubt, but they will have to give themselves a lot to do in order to trace the china of lost quality. Please take a pizzaiolo to the heights, and know how to make the real Neapolitan pizzas.
