Woodfire Grille at Diamond Jo - Dubuque

I was ready to love this place, after all we had a free gift certificate to it (well free minus hundreds of losing in gambling).

We went to Woodfire for a Valentine's Day dinner. The service was excellent, although they were quite focused on upselling.

I love this place! Your salsa is excellent and the mole is wonderful too. I eat here every time I am in Laguna Beach.

Great brunch option. We had the shrimp and kale omelet.

Amazing salsa !! Great service and a fun environment !!! But they need better cooks with more than one style of cooking who know how NOT to overcook all the meat they offer. ALL dishes taste very similar! All with burnt burn marks on "whatever" meat, mixed with similar spices and all well done to finish cooking. The burned cremation, like a fajitas, but for every dish? This is the second time that I had to come here with the same results ... I refuse the next time I am invited ... Maybe have a drink because the mood is good and fun ... she just need better cooks ...
