The Depot At Doolittle's - Dubois

We visited the Doolittle Depot on our way from Cleveland to New York. It is a charming little place designed to resemble a vintage railway station. There is a small mini-golf course that children can enjoy, as well as a dinosaur museum (unfortunately closed during our visit). The old trains on display are fascinating, especially for train enthusiasts. One of the train cars is dedicated to President Franklin D. Roosevelt, with a picture of him inside. Another train car is designed to resemble a 1950s diner.

I love the variety of different railway cars at this restaurant. I drove from Buffalo, NY on a mini road trip just to have dinner here. The Boxcar Brewery is my favorite part. You won't be disappointed. The only thing I would suggest to the owner is to illuminate the railway signals around the property. Thank you for opening, Silvester.

The depot diner car is currently closed without planned reopening. it was the most beautiful restaurant of the collection.

Great place to go to eat and try some new brews. It's also a great place to take your train and dino loving kiddos!
