Stir At Clayton Cardiff Lane - Dublin

When we arrived, there was no reservation for us because the restaurant hasn't used OpenTable in the last two years. However, they were able to find us a table, even though it was a busy night with a show at the Bord Gais Theatre. It took 25 minutes for our two glasses of wine to arrive, and we waited 50 minutes for our meal. I won't be using OpenTable to make reservations again.

I had a reservation for 6 PM and arrived around 5:55 PM to find that they had no record of my booking. I showed them the confirmation and was then seated at a bar table outside the restaurant. After I complained to the staff, they finally brought me inside. I received a menu at 6:30 PM and was told it was too late to order appetizers. I ordered a main course each, but we had to wait until 7:10 PM to be informed that the food might take another 30 minutes. We had theater tickets, so we felt we had no choice but to stay. This restaurant was an absolute disappointment, and I don't understand why they were under pressure, as it wasn't even busy.

Unfortunately food was cold as was the restuarant, beef was very fatty , just not good value.

There seemed to be an issue regarding bookings and the manager seemed to be a little frustrated about this but we were seated and food was slow coming but when it came it was deicious

No. We went for pre-theatre dinner and food service was really slow. ABout 4/5 tables of people walked out as they werent going to make the show. Food was fine but service let it down.
