Galena Steak House - Dixon

This was hands down the best meal I have ever had! I tried the NY strip with shrimp and it was absolutely amazing! It came with a salad and the soup of the day, which was a creamy chicken and rice soup that I have never had better in my life. Even my picky son, who usually hates soup, loved it and enjoyed everything! I highly recommend this restaurant - you will not be disappointed. The staff was also fantastic!

$5.99 half ham and cheese panini american cheese, ham and mayonnaise on garlic panini brot with frits. this is a good deal! $5.99 half philly panini cut steak with roasted tweezers and paprika and mozzarella cheese on garlic panini brot with frits. this is a good deal! $3.99 kid’s steak 6 oz with fries with 1 trip to the salat flea mouse that is a good deal! $25.99 bakes steak 10 oz marinated ny strips with fries and salatable. this is a good deal! $8.99 reuben sandwich carved horned bark with sour wort on marmor roggenbrot with Swiss cheese and frits, add $2.99 salatable. that is a good deal! not only was it a good deal for a lot of eating, it was delicious and satisfying.

The food, service, and atmosphere at this restaurant are all fantastic. The senior menu is reasonably priced. Parking is available on Galena across from the car dealership at the lights. The restaurant is kid-friendly, with well-behaved children dining with their parents and grandparents.

In my opinion, Galena Steak House is the best restaurant within a 30-mile radius. A few years ago, the restaurant experienced a decline in service and quality, making me unsure if they would be able to recover. However, they have truly made a comeback, and I want to commend the management and staff for bringing back a wonderful dining experience to our community. Well done!

I visited the Dixon area from Chicago and was recommended to try Galena for a delicious steak at a reasonable price. I must say, I was very impressed with the ribeye I ordered - it definitely ranks in my top 3 ribeyes of all time. The restaurant had a charming old supper club atmosphere that is hard to come by these days. I also noticed that dishes being served to other tables looked fantastic. If you are in the Dixon area, I highly recommend making the trip to Galena.
