Bidrage med feedbackWe tried the traditional Assamees Thali and it was delicious. The spread has a combination of pigeon/duck gravy, a special fish cooked in a leaf and other exotic flavors which my pallate tasted may be first time in its existance. Yumm. Some of flavors were very strong and may come cross as new and strange. But the entire experience was totally worth it. The ambiance of the restaurant is good, staff is courteous food is the hero of this stage and does all the talking.
This is one ethnic restaurant in Guwahati, which I like the most.Unlike other ethnic restaurants, you will not get the smell of foods, like the smell of bamboo shoot or any other pungent smells while getting inside the restaurant. The thalis are very tasty, well presented and looks attractive. The restaurant serves beer also, so in hot days you can really cool-off. Please try ethnic assamese dishes only, because they only are famous. For rest, you have to search for another review.
Tough to find. It is named as parampara but it is in the building called paradise hotels. The security guard guarding the hotel did not know where parampara was.Food took a good 35 mins to arrive. The thalis were just ok, lot of options but tastes just ok including the fish. Service and the servers were really good
Nice ambience with good food. You can have authentic Assamese thali here in a reasonable price. Local people also visit this place for food. This is one of the oldest restaurant in Guwahati.
