Fogo de Chão - Des Plaines

I always used to go to Fogo de Chão since when I used to live in Brazil.

As a long-time customer, I was extremely disappointed with my recent visit. The service was painfully slow—from taking our order to receiving drinks and sides. The floor near the salad bar was dangerously slippery, making me avoid it altogether. To top it off, the molten chocolate cake arrived with mostly melted ice cream. What made this experience even more frustrating was that I had noted in my OpenTable reservation that this was for a 50th birthday celebration—an important milestone—yet the dinner felt far from special. Unfortunately, this was the worst experience I’ve had at Fogo de Chão, and I expected much better.

We had a wonderful dinner! The service and food options with the market table satisfied all our cravings!
