Supermac's Foyleside Shopping Centre

Was in here for lunch on Saturday past. Haven’t been in years and was well impressed. Just how I remember it, delicious, fast and well priced. Will return again!

One of the busiest nights in the run up to xmas in Derry is always santa arriving to turn on the lights. As packed as the food court in Foyleside was, the biggest queue was at Supermacs. Most people had a half an hours wait or more in the queue, standing with young kids, babies in prams and grandparents etc If the staff were moving quickly theres not much you could say but there was just a handful of staff that could not manage the numbers, were talking with each other, laughing, waving at their friends in the food court and shuffling around with absolutley no urgency. If there was a manager there he/she was either turning a blind eye or joining it. People in the queue were disgusted. when we finally got ordering, after 35mins, we were told to take a buzzer down to our table and come bk when it went off! Felt like walking away at this stage but with 3 young kids under the age of 7 it wasnt an option after waiting that long. Supermacs food is fine for fast food but its the service and staff at this particular chain im outraged with as there was nothing fast about it. Even the cleaners of the food court were going around saying how ridiculous the service had been all day and how the staff were so slow. Steer clear if your visiting Derry for anything. Plenty of other faster food outlets to choose from!

I was served a wrap with pink mold and had to be refunded,my friends accompanying me were put off of their own meals due to this. The woman serving us was very unpleasant also.

Great selection of food on offer efficient service. The burgers are well dressed really tasty. The seating area is very open plan not at all snug, just too bright a bit chaotic for my liking! Would definitely recommend though.....

Stopped in here to get the kids fed and they all liked it especially the loaded fries. I was told they had no fresh chicken left though only frozen so I skipped it.
