Bidrage med feedbackRegardless of the outdoor temperature, the inside of this restaurant is incredibly cold. Each booth and table has a vent that blasts cold air directly overhead. Seriously, it was 90 degrees outside, and we felt the need to wear sweaters inside. We ordered a couple of mixed plates featuring kebabs and tikka for $16 each, along with some hummus that was a bit coarse— in my opinion, it could have used more tahini. They also served both regular khubz bread and traditional Iraqi trapezoidal bread. The chicken, lamb, and beef were fresh, juicy, and cooked to perfection. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. I absolutely loved it! The experience felt genuinely authentic from the moment we walked in until the food was served—simple and straightforward, so make sure to arrive with a big appetite.
The food here is excellent! The heart sandwich is incredible—don't hesitate to give it a try! And of course, the kabob is the best; it's exceptionally juicy here. I've been dining here for years.
I'm sorry to say, but both the service and the food need improvement.
My Egyptian mother absolutely loves this place, and she and the server seem like long-lost sisters, which is lovely to see. By the way, Egyptians and Shia have a special camaraderie for some reason. Anyway, the food is fantastic, the staff is wonderful, and the atmosphere truly reflects what a genuine Arab eatery should be—it’s designed for the Arab community in Dearborn, meaning it’s more authentic than the larger, fancier Middle Eastern restaurants that tend to cater to Western tastes in order to boost profits. This place might not be big or glamorous, but it definitely makes up for it with the quality of the food. Since my mom enjoys it, I enjoy it too!
My new favorite restaurant in Dearborn! The food was incredibly fresh and delicious, and the service was friendly.
