Yamato Sushi Steak House - Dayville

Too many times I’ve shown up for my takeout after waiting an extra 10 minutes from their 25 minute estimate and I have to wait an additional 20 minutes for my order. This needs to change. Not everything takes 25 minutes! If it’s going to take an hour tell me before I show up and waste my time!

Best homemade duck sauce, edamame perfection, hibachi dinner was full of flavor, all their rolls where very satisfying as well as the sashimi. Restaurant interior is dated but the food is everything! Soooooo goooood !

Yamato is king. The best sushi around. So fresh, always on point, feels like the first time trying it every time. Highly recommend.

This is the best and cheapest Japanese I’ve had in Connecticut. Staff was super friendly. Sushi was delicious

I was pleasantly surprised how good the food was. The sushi was very good. The service was excellent as well.
