TGI FRIDAYS - Royal Palm - DAVISON

I visited Ocean2000 for a business lunch this past Monday, November 13, 2017.

I attended a conference here, and it was wonderful to have the venue right by the water. Every staff member I encountered at the hotel was friendly and attentive.

Every time I go to this restaurant and my waitress is Marcy, I feel like I'm being cheated with the small drink portions. I used to visit often, but I really don't like having to address an issue that should be handled properly. When I received my drink, it was just one and a half cups. Furthermore, when I sent it back, I noticed her adding ice to make it look full.

Our dining experience on a Monday evening fell short of our expectations. We requested an outdoor table, but the area was disorganized and we had to ask for the tables to be cleaned. Our server seemed preoccupied and forgot to enter one of our orders, leading to a 30-minute wait for our food to be prepared for takeout. The NY strip steak lacked flavor, and to make matters worse, our credit card was also forgotten and not returned to us.

The salmon portion was generous, flavorful, and fresh, and the jasmine rice was incredibly moist and delicious. For dessert, we tried a cheesecake cinnamon bun flavor, which my boyfriend ordered. It came drizzled with caramel and included two scoops of ice cream. Everything was fantastic. We had initially planned to go to Texas Roadhouse but realized they close early. I'm really glad we ended up at Fridays instead. We’ll definitely be back!
