Carrburritos In Davidson

Fun fast Mexican food with great tasting but reasonably priced margaritas. Great vibe. Often crowded, but that's how you know it is good!

This place is a staple in Davidson. I usually meet my buddies here once a month for lunch and a pitcher of beers. Never disappointed!

I came in and got 2 burritos, 1 burrito bowl and 1 quesadilla. Literally the only thing that wasn’t made wrong was the quesadilla which only has chicken and cheese. Instead of the high school workers snickering and joking while I’m ordering they should have been more focused on the words coming out of my mouth. They took it upon themselves to add red onion and tomatoes to the burritos which I hate and never asked for and didn’t put any rice in the burrito bowl. Who the hell wants a tiny to go box with just chicken beans and cheese? Ordered 4 easy to make things and 3 of them were made wrong. Maybe if they actually made it in front of you like it looks like it’s set up for there wouldn’t be this issue. $45 down the drain, either they don’t know how to take a simple order or they don’t care, my guess is both

A poor imitation of the original.First trip I got a very disappointing and small burrito.Second trip one of the Burritos was just meat and beans, could have been from Taco Bell. I also love the mixture of corn and flour chips, if only they gave you more than one flour chip per bag you could actually enjoy it.Also their super spicy salsa with 5 peppers next to it wouldn't bother a toddler, even if they gave you a decent amount, not a 2oz cup.Please get the basics together, the difference between this and the original is night and day. Right now, service is laggy, the food is unreliable at best, and it seems more like a bar than a burrito joint. It just isn't Carrburritos.

The food here is ok. It 's not real Mexican food. It more like tex mex . I had the burrito and the tortilla was pretty soggy. The nachos were ok but had very little cheese. The chips had two kinds mixed together. One was really good the other tasted store bought. If you are looking for good Mexican food then don 't go here.
