Port City Cafe - Dartmouth

I haven't had the chance to visit the café yet, but I'm excited to have finally discovered a coffee that I genuinely love after sampling many local roasters. It does make me a bit jittery, so I blend their Sumatra with decaf, and I have to say, it’s received the highest compliment a Nova Scotian can offer: it’s really good! They even deliver to Halifax, which is great since I don’t drive. I would give it a perfect 10/10 for both taste and accessibility!

Fantastic spot! Enjoying coffee, a breakfast sandwich, and a scone is the ideal way to spend a Saturday.

The service was incredibly slow. The staff appeared to spend more time engaging in unrelated conversations than focusing on the customers. I ordered a large regular roast coffee but ended up with dark roast instead, and it was served in a tiny cup that could barely hold two sips. At $3 each, it was certainly not worth it, especially after waiting 40 minutes for the nine people in front of me.

Every morning, I walk by a well-liked coffee shop in the neighborhood, and I must say – you all are amazing! I absolutely adore your coffee and cookies!
