Bird In Hand - Dartford

Our local pub , normally go in for quiz nights great fun. There was five of us booked for sunday lunch. Fantastic food great service. The owner and the staff are amazing. Music and a live singer. Highly recommended

Myself and my partner have only just recently moved to the area but due to the lockdown we couldn’t go out anywhere. As soon as this place opened back up we thought why not give it a visit. The food was lovely and they did some of the best chips we both have ever had. The staff were very welcoming and friendly with the added bonus of there being a pub dog! Will definitely be paying a visit again and have done so already when they have been hosting the euros.

Just had an amazing Pork Roast. Have eaten in the pub before and love the food. Had curry take out before which was delicious but this was the first roast take away. It did not disappoint! It was as good as eating in. Huge roasties, stuffing in bacon, Brussels, roast carrots, parsnips Cauliflower. Very happily surprised to get a Yorkshire pud and topped of with great crackling!

This pub is a fantastic pub, really warm and friendly, i am proud to call this my local. The staff are great and you can’t ask for a better landlord, the pub serves a wide selection of drinks and serves up some fantastic food, with various different food being offered throughout the week. The fish and chips on a Friday are to die for.

As its lockdown yet again my local pub the Bird in Hand is offering take away fish chips on Fridays and i decided to try it out. I can honestly say this is the best fish chips I've ever had. The cod was wonderful so white and succulent (from Billingsgate that morning) and I've never tasted chips like it, they were to die for, so golden and crispy and fab and all piping hot. Can't praise take away fish chips on a Friday from The Bird in Hand enough. Thank you Adam Joy The photos don't do it justice xx
