Mccrossen's Tavern - Darby Township

So we went to this tavern because of the bar food and sounds good. It's not a large selection, I went with the Rueben sandwich, and I will say this may have been the best I ever had My wife did get a salad with Tuna, and I do not think the fish was fresh and maybe frozen. Otherwise, everything else was good.

Just here for drinks with colleagues, fairly late in the evening on a Friday. Good beer selection, good atmosphere, slow service.

The bartender was a tentative and the food was good, I would suggest if you are looking for a quiet place to eat

Our daughter had her wedding after party at McCrossens this past Friday. The owner, bartenders and staff were so accommodating. We were scheduled for 12am to 2am but everyone was having such a great time we did not end until 3am. The food (cheese steaks, chicken wings, chicken fingers) were perfect and delicious for that time of night. The highlight was my daughter leading the bar in singing the Phillies anthem Dancing on my Own from on top of the bar stools. Thanks McCrossen!! Great place to host an After Party. The Powers/Talbot wedding.

McCrossen's is everything you want from a neighborhood bar. Great place to watch a Phillies game or happy hour. The staff is all so friendly and the food is fairly traditional fare that is slightly elevated from typical bar food. I'm so sad to be moving away, but I know I'll be back whenever we are in Philly again!
