Sonesta Select Boston Danvers

During my recent stay there were several issues. My room had no working AC, the window in my room was open upon my arrival, there was a stale smell in my room as well as throughout the hotel. I 'm not sure if the hotel allows smoking in the rooms but the stinch of smoke was horrible. I notified the hotel about the ac, the smell as well as a microwave. Nothing was done for any of my request. Upon my check out I let the front staff know that my two nights were horrible because it was hot in my room and unbearable. The staff member said I 'm sorry there 's not much that can be done now since you 're checking out. For the price that was paid I expected my stay to be a little more pleasant. The location was the best part on my stay it wad in an excellent location.Update: After making a complaint to the main office I was refunded for 1 night stay.Rooms: No ac and a horrible smell, and small. No smart tv to allow streaming. Very old and outdated.Nearby activities: Strip mall, movie theater, and eateries all in walking distance.

This is an average hotel but great location near restaurants, and the highway. If cleaning service is only every 4 days, than they should have a way to toss our trash instead of leaving it in the hallway. Had to track down TP, Tissue and towels. I just don't expect that when the prices are averaging over 170.00 per night.

We had a pleasant and comfortable stay. The rooms had plenty of rooms amd comfy beds. The staff was friendly. However, the rooms did not have a microwave, hairdryer, or safe. Also, the mini fridge was very small.Rooms: Comfortable with plenty of spaceFood drinks: They had a variety of food choices in the lobby for you to choose from. There's also a microwave that guests can use in the lobby but none in the room. They also have paid breakfast that's not included with the cost of your booking.

Three years after COVID they are still not cleaning rooms unless you stay a week. You can’t even get it on request. They will change towels after four days. Otherwise it is fine, average. The location is conveniently close to the highway and stores.

We didn't really check the services so I can't accurately rate those. We loved our room ot was spacious and very nice. The living room area did seem a little empty with just a love seat fold pit couch.
